MEDIAN RESALE HOME PRICES SHOW PAUSE   Real estate market conditions firmed up and rocketed up in 2002 after five years of decline. REA identified the current move as the "Gold Rush" of the milenium.  The chart shows five trends in median prices. REA expects a price trend similar to that which occurred 1983-1986 once buyers realize recovery is underway.  Housing markets suffer from supply constraints.  Lack of housing production will continue to push up prices...good for owners, bad for buyers. Year 2006 should bring a pause in the escalation of prices, however, no bursting of the housing bubble is anticipated.
